Twelve Promoted Through Helmkamp Construction’s New Field Leadership Structure
Helmkamp Construction Company is proud to announce a strategic enhancement to its operational leadership structure as General Superintendent Brandon Howard unveils a new superintendent framework designed to foster professional growth and success among field management.
This updated structure reflects Helmkamp’s continued commitment to investing in its people and building clear pathways for career advancement. The newly implemented framework provides greater clarity, expanded mentorship, and individualized support for each team member in the field, empowering them to reach their full potential within the organization.

As part of this initiative, twelve superintendents have been promoted. Five team members were elevated to Superintendent II roles: Aaron Gaither, Dale Jansen, Jacob Schmitz, Rick Walkenhorst, and Todd Murray. Seven individuals advanced to Senior Superintendent, Helmkamp’s highest level in the field: Andy Carroll, Andy Summers, BJ Williams, Bob Howard, Gary Neese, Kevin Feldott, and Randy Houck.
Helmkamp’s field leadership team holds a combined 277 years of experience at Helmkamp—an average of 18 years per superintendent serving the company’s valued clients.
This new superintendent structure will also include formal leadership development opportunities and a clearly defined career progression model. These enhancements align with Helmkamp’s long-term vision to lead the industry in both project excellence and employee satisfaction.
