Staff Updates to Know About

It's always exciting around here to see our team members rewarded for work well done.

There's something special in the way Helmkamp sources talented construction management interns who stay at Helmkamp and grow their career here. After all, that's how our company president got to where he is now. So it's no surprise to see team members follow is his early footsteps. Cole Hagen (pictured below) joined Helmkamp as an intern in 2015 and after graduation, became an Assistant Project Manager in 2018. Cole works with many Building and Life Science customers and has recently been reviewed by a client as a "solid and responsive individual they can count on." Cole mostly enjoys working on strategic planning with the safety and field leaders to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all projects he is responsible for. Congratulations to Cole as he has now been promoted from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager. We are thankful to have him on our team and look forward to more customers getting to work with Cole in the future.

Exciting and maybe slower times are ahead for Steve Henderson, who recently retired as Superintendent at Helmkamp. Steve spent the last 8 years of his career with our company and we were glad to have him. He was a meticulous and well-liked leader on the team and at the jobsite. Many clients, particularly in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, enjoyed being able to work with and rely on Steve. He was one of our ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructors and he led many successful projects for us to the highest of standards. We congratulate Steve on his retirement and wish him the best!

Helmkamp is currently looking to add an Industrial Project Manager to our team. If you are a project manager with experience in industrial markets, please submit your resume on our Careers page.
